Accutest® Oralert Interactive Training Program

Interpretation:

Negative: A negative result is indicated by:

  • Development of a test line in the T-zone (test area). The test line may be any shade of pink and may be weaker or stronger than the control line. A test line of ANY intensity indicates a negative result.

  • Control line must also develop in the C-zone (control area).

Positive: A positive result is indicated by:

  • When no line forms in the test area.

  • Control line must also develop.

Invalid: If no control line develops, regardless of whether lines develop in the test area or not, the test should be considered invalid. Improper testing procedures, sample tampering, or test deterioration may have occurred. In event of an invalid screen a second screen should be run.
